WE HAVE A NEW BUILDING! - More information will be coming soon, but the basic info is this: The Carpenter's House is a building that will be shared by 3 organizations dedicated to supporting the population of homeless people in Memphis. It will function as a headquarters for RITI-MEM, among other things.   It is in need of a great deal of work. To that end we have created a crowd funding site to help with this work. Please consider making a donation and sharing this site with your friends.

Room In The Inn - Memphis Congregational Registration Form

In 2010 Colonial Cumberland Presbyterian Church decided to open its doors to members of the Memphis homeless population. We chose to model Room in the Inn, Nashville who has been doing this type of work for over 25 years. While still in its infancy, Room in the Inn, Memphis hopes to increase the number of people served through recruiting volunteers and volunteer churches.

Room in the Inn, Memphis provides dinner and breakfast, a shower (depending on the facilities available) and a warm bed to sleep in for our guests one night a week during the coldest winter months (November 1 through March 31).  We would love to come tell you and your congregation about the amazing things going on through this ministry. We can offer training and guidance through our experiences.
